The Phoenix Motorsports Team is a great opportunity for students to explore many aspects of engineering, business, and marketing all hands-on! When you apply, you will be prompted to choose your subteams based on your interests. You absolutely can and are encouraged to choose MULTIPLE! The options are as follows...

Chassis: hands-on metal working and design opportunities for car frame, anything from materials research to welding

Aerodynamics: in-depth design and research, including manufacturing components

Marketing: promote PMT through social media and content creation, interact with businesses and sponsors, and fundraise as a team

Powertrain: research and hands-on work on the engine and its connected parts

Suspension: works closely with the Powertrain team for a smooth ride, requires research and design

Electrical: all hands on deck for any electrical component of the car
